In July of 1988, the owner of a taxi company in Michigan was shot by a disgruntled employee. He survived, until a year later when he was shot once again. The identity of his second attacker would remain a mystery for fifteen years, until an exchange of letters between an inmate and a woman provided police with a clue.

After she fails to return home the previous night, the body of 15-year old Martha Moxley is discovered in her backyard. She has been stabbed in the neck and bludgeoned with a golf club and pieces of the shattered club are traced to the residence of the Skakels, a prominent family from the neighborhood.

Susie Hendricks was a stay at home mom who took care of the families big nice house, and even read the Bible to her two daughters and young son at breakfast time.  David Hendricks was a successful businessman.  He was both an inventor and great salesperson for his invention, a medical device, a very popular back brace that was selling quite well in the midwest.  While away in the state of Wisconsin on a sales trip David’s family was killed in their beds.  This case remains unsolved to this day.
