Suddenly, Rae slowed down, causing Cherica to do the same. Then, another car pulled up beside her, and shots were fired. In the chaos, Rae disappeared, and Cherica was left wounded from multiple gunshots.

New police bodycam footage captures the arrest of David Contreras, accused of fatally shooting his son Eric Contreras in November.

Contreras, 52, faces second-degree murder charges for killing 21-year-old Eric at their home.

The video shows police arriving, guns drawn, and Contreras complying with his arrest, confessing tearfully to shooting his son.

In court, a distraught Contreras listened to a 911 call he made after the shooting.

Friends described Eric as a funny college student, stating the family trip ended abruptly due to Eric's behavior.

The defense suggested Eric's mental health may have played a role in the tragic incident.

Erik Daniel Bonita, 32, has been accused of murdering another man at a mental healthcare facility in Houston.

Bonita was arrested and charged with murder, with his bond set at $500,000.

The incident took place at the Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital on Gessner Road near Kempner Drive.

Bonita allegedly got into a fight and was moved to a new room where he strangled and beat the victim.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Bonita had previously been arrested for assaulting a worker at a different hospital in January.
