One person was killed and five others were injured in a shooting on the Bronx subway platform on Monday afternoon.

Police sources believe that the victim who died was an innocent bystander.

The incident occurred on the 4 train platform at the Mount Eden subway station on Jerome Avenue.

Authorities are searching for at least one suspect, but no arrests have been made.

The injured individuals, ranging from ages 14 to 71, are in stable condition at various hospitals.
