A man accused of attacking a Louisiana college student with a hammer is currently held on $500,000 bail.

The attack was unprovoked and random.

The student was treated and released.

Two Suspects Charged in Brutal Murder of Fort Campbell Soldier

Two suspects have been charged in the brutal murder of Fort Campbell soldier, Private First Class Katia Dueñas Aguilar.

Sofia Rodas, 35, faces first-degree murder and evidence tampering charges, while Reynaldo Salinas Cruz, 40, has been charged with evidence tampering.

Aguilar was found stabbed 68 times in her Clarksville home.

Both suspects were extradited after being held on federal charges.

Aguilar, from Mesquite, Texas, joined the Army in 2018 and was a member of the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade.

Her family and organizations offered a reward for information.

An autopsy confirmed she died from multiple stab wounds.

Man Arrested and Charged with Murder of Pregnant Woman Donna Oglive After 26 Years Unsolved

A man has been arrested and charged with the murder of 24-year-old Donna Oglive, who was found dead in a Toronto parking lot in 1998.

Ronald Gordon Ackerman, 50, of Gander, Newfoundland, was arrested at the Toronto Pearson Airport and charged with first-degree murder.

DNA evidence and a YouTube video seeking information led to the arrest.

Oglive, who was pregnant at the time of her death, was working in the sex trade in Toronto.

The case remained unsolved for 26 years until advances in forensic technology and genealogy led to Ackerman's arrest.
