25-Year-Old Woman Found Dead In Fayetteville, Police Investigating

Heather Williams, a 25-year-old woman from Fayetteville, North Carolina, was found dead on January 10 after being reported missing on January 4.

She was last seen getting into a light-colored sedan on Berkshire Road.

The Fayetteville Police Department located her body in a wooded area.

Williams had a cognitive impairment.

The FPD's Homicide Unit is investigating her death.

Her sister, Mary Williams, urged anyone with information to come forward.

Real Estate Agent Arrested for Triple Homicide in North Carolina

North Carolina authorities have arrested real estate agent David Hansen Lever, 55, for three counts of murder related to a triple homicide in Pitt County.

The victims were a married couple, Tony Gribble, 80, and Paula Gribble, 76, and Enrique Reyes, 64.

Lever's connection to Reyes is unclear, but the Gribbles had used Lever as their realtor for a home purchase in 2014.

Lever was apprehended after the Gribbles' son held him at gunpoint.

Authorities discovered more than 50 weapons in Lever's home and firearms in his van.

Lever, a partner at Lever & Russel Real Estate LLC, appeared in court calling the judge offensive language.

Authorities found what is believed to be Staggs' human remains in a shallow grave in a remote county.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office is examining the remains.

Jack Baird was previously arrested for abuse of a corpse related to Stagg's disappearance.

The Lincoln County District Attorney's Cold Case Unit continues to investigate this case since May 2022.

Texas DPS Increases Reward for Information in Karen Lynn Douglas' Cold Case Murder to $6,000

The Texas Department of Public Safety has increased the reward for information in Karen Lynn Douglas' 1981 cold case murder to $6,000.

Douglas, a 22-year-old, was stabbed to death in her home in Harris County.

There were unresolved home invasions in the area before and after the murder which DPS believes are related.

They suspect a young, slender white male to be involved in both incidents.

Tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers hotline, Texas Rangers' Cold Case website, or the missing persons hotline.

All tips are anonymous.
