Christopher Darnell Jones Jr., a former University of Virginia student, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder this week for the shooting deaths of three UVA football players.

The victims were Lavel Davis Jr., D’Sean Perry, and Devin Chandler.

Injuries were also sustained by Mike Hollins and Marlee Morgan.

Jones' sentencing hearing is scheduled for February 4, facing three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, and five counts of using a firearm in a felony.

The shooting occurred on a charter bus returning to campus after a school trip, resulting in a 12-hour lockdown of the Charlottesville campus.
