A killer is still at large after the brutal murder of Dustin Mitchell Kjersem, a 35-year-old father found dead in his tent near Big Sky, Montana.

His body was discovered 12 days ago by a friend who initially suspected a bear attack, but authorities later confirmed it as a homicide.

Kjersem's sister, Jillian Price, is urging the public to help find the perpetrator.

Autopsies revealed multiple chop wounds as the cause of death.

Investigators are treating the case as a vicious attack and are seeking information from those in the area between October 10 and 12.

The Army is investigating the death of 23-year-old Sgt. Sarah Roque as a homicide after her body was found in a dumpster at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

A person of interest has been taken into custody.
