Man Charged with Murder, Kidnapping, and Carjacking in Hijacking of LA Metro Bus

Prosecutors in Los Angeles have filed murder, kidnapping, robbery, and carjacking charges against Lamont A. Campbell after he allegedly hijacked an LA Metro bus, resulting in the death of a passenger.

Campbell faces a total of 12 counts, including using a gun during the crime.

The motive behind Campbell's actions is still under investigation.

George Gascón, the LA County District Attorney, stated that if found guilty, Campbell could face 90 years, 9 months to life in prison.

Campbell was arrested after LAPD SWAT officers rescued the bus operator and attempted to save the passenger who later died from a gunshot wound.

Campbell is set to appear in court for arraignment.

19-Year-Old Released on Bail After Allegedly Stabbing 65-Year-Old Veteran To Death

A 19-year-old named K'Shawn Konscience Jimerson was released by a judge in Washington state just one day after being arrested for allegedly stabbing a 65-year-old veteran to death at a home.

According to the Renton Police Department, Jimerson called 911 and claimed self-defense.

Witnesses reported seeing Jimerson covered in blood with a large knife.

The victim, Michael Gray, died from stab wounds.

Jimerson posted bail and was released, but the prosecutor is seeking to increase bail.

Surveillance video shows Jimerson attacking Gray.

Gray was a helpful man and military veteran.

During a press conference, the Alma Police Department in Arkansas announced a significant update in the Morgan Nick case: DNA found in a truck once owned by the main suspect in her disappearance has been linked to Morgan.

The 6-year-old was taken from a parking lot near Wofford Field in Alma during a Little League game on June 9, 1995.

Billy Jack Lincks quickly became a person of interest but denied any involvement in 1995.

The FBI has made progress in identifying the person responsible for Morgan’s abduction but more information is needed about Lincks.

Justice Finally Served: Suspect Charged in 40-Year-Old Murder Case

After 40 years, a suspect has been charged with the murder of Terry Dolowy, a 24-year-old woman whose decapitated and burnt body was found in Wisconsin.

Michael Raymond Popp, a 60-year-old truck driver, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after DNA evidence linked him to the crime.

Popp initially denied knowing Dolowy but later admitted to a relationship with her.

He also faces additional charges for stalking and drug possession related to another victim.

Law enforcement authorities never gave up on the case, working tirelessly to bring closure to this decades-old mystery.

Popp is currently held in Vernon County Jail awaiting trial.
