Duran, who suffers from mental illness, had a history of erratic behavior and violence.

Man Convicted of Murder in Death of Former Barlow Bruins Athlete

Alec James Baldridge has been found guilty of the murder of Dominic Jacoby after a week-long trial in Multnomah County.

Jacoby was shot and killed outside his home in Gresham on August 13, 2021.

The police found Jacoby on the ground after reports of gunfire in the area.

Baldridge, who owed Jacoby money, was arrested by the Gresham Police Department and later convicted of second-degree murder with a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 12 and remains in custody.

Jacoby was a former football and basketball player for the Barlow Bruins.

Two years later, on June 26, 1977, her decomposed body was found off Old County Road in Newport, Maine.

The case has remained unsolved for nearly 50 years and has been declared a homicide.

Maine State Police are seeking tips to help solve this cold case.
