After Bill's demise, Omaima further desecrated his body on the kitchen floor, boiling his hands to eliminate fingerprints and freezing his head for later disposal, all while symbolically castrating him as an act of revenge. The Chilling Family Massacre of Paul Merhige

In 2009, Paul Merhige, estranged from his family for years, attended a Thanksgiving dinner in Jupiter, Florida, only to unleash a horrifying massacre. After three hours of seemingly normal festivities, Paul abruptly pulled out a gun, claiming the lives of four relatives, including his pregnant twin sisters and a six-year-old girl. Shockingly, Paul had prepared for this gruesome act by spending $2,000 on firearms and withdrawing $12,000.
Witnesses revealed that Paul, seemingly calm during the dinner, abruptly returned with a gun, declaring, "I've been waiting 20 years to do this." Despite a troubled history with family members, there was no apparent provocation that day. Fleeing the scene, Paul evaded authorities for five weeks before being captured in January 2010. Choosing to plead guilty to avoid the death penalty, he is now serving seven life sentences for the chilling Thanksgiving massacre.

Thanksgiving Tragic Triple Homicide

In 2017, Richmond, Virginia, witnessed a horrifying Thanksgiving tragedy as 58-year-old Christopher Gattis, a church youth pastor, murdered his wife, stepdaughter, and her boyfriend during a drunken argument. The gruesome incident unfolded after days of tension within the household, exacerbated by the prolonged stay of Gattis' stepdaughter Candice Lau Kunze and her boyfriend Andrew E. Buthorn.
The atmosphere had grown increasingly strained, leading to a violent encounter two days before the fatal incident when an intoxicated Gattis had to be restrained by Andrew from attacking his wife, Jeanett. On Thanksgiving Day, neighbors called 911 upon hearing gunshots from the Gattis residence. When police arrived, they discovered Andrew in the front yard with a blood-stained shirt, and inside the house, Gattis claimed self-defense, alleging that the victims had ganged up on him. Gattis later pleaded guilty at trial, receiving a 58-year sentence for the tragic triple homicide.

The couple, retiring and relocating, planned to say their goodbyes to their son, Joel Guy Jr., who relied heavily on their financial support. However, the mood shifted when Lisa didn't show up for her last day of work, prompting a welfare check.
Police discovered a gruesome scene in the seemingly empty house—groceries scattered, a sledgehammer on a table, and a boiling stockpot containing Lisa's decapitated head. As officers ascended, blood-spattered walls and dismembered body parts revealed a horrifying truth. The acid-filled tubs in the bathroom held the remains of Joel and Lisa.
