Heroic Security Guard Killed in Shooting at New Hampshire Psychiatric Hospital
In a tragic incident, Bradley Haas, a 63-year-old security guard, lost his life while bravely confronting a gunman at the New Hampshire State Hospital in Concord. Haas, a father, a former chief of police with almost 30 years of service and former military police office in the U.S. Army, was described as a hero dedicated to public service.The suspected shooter, 33-year-old John Madore, was subsequently shot and killed by a New Hampshire State Police trooper assigned to the hospital. As the investigation unfolds, authorities are examining a U-Haul truck left at the scene, containing an AR-15-style weapon, a tactical vest, and ammunition.
